Erich Fichtner, long
established as a designer and maker of fine furniture for both
homes and yachts in America, is now working in Ireland.
In his workshop in County Clare he focuses on combining
native timbers, often incorporating more exotic wooden accents,
with traditional joinery to produce unique contemporary furniture
as well as modern adaptations of more classic styles.
He accepts commissions to build his
own designs or to interpret the requirements of his clients
and also produces a range of boxes and other smaller pieces.
